ItsMusicFashionLife.com MASHUP Shopping Affair 2012!

Posted on: Monday, July 30, 2012

It has been fabulous first year at ItsMusicFashionLife.com! To celebrate and bring our ItsMFL friends together, we decided to host a night of shopping and beauty! We chose one of our favorite boutiques in Toronto, Homegrown Boutique, to host and provide Canadian fashion by young fashion designers to our guests and invited one of our favorite makeup brands, Inspire Cosmetics to host a free makeup counter! Wendy Crystal, our Beauty Guru, owns Inspire Cosmetics, so it was a great night to mash-up our loves of Fashion, Beauty and Music.

Our friends, designer Adrian Wu, artist Jessica Gorlicky, bloggers The Spark Twins, Jack Harding of OhWowYouWoreThat, Blacksebath, Tia Duke Renee Kerr of Rise Up T.O.Glenda Fordham of FordhamPR, Sasha Stoltz of Sasha Stoltz PR, recording artist Hailey Small, Meg Sethi of EvolutionPR, designer Erin Holman of Holman, designer Theresa Ibbetson of B.E. Shields, Sentelar designer Bojana Sentaler and many more fashionably amazing guests, came out to support the online publication and us, the creators, Carcia & Telly, HerCastleGirls! Check out the images below! We had such a smashing time! We look forward to our next event and hope you can make it out too!

Sisters make the best work partners, at least for us HerCastleGirls and Spark Twins anyway.

Telly, Adrian Wu, Carcia and Cecilia Tement of Freelance Event Specialists

Huge Thanks to The HomeGrown Boutique Team, Perrier Water & Inspire Cosmetics who did our makeup for the party!

FAT 2012: B.E. SHIELDS

Posted on: Wednesday, April 25, 2012

Making her premiere for this season, Toronto’s own, Theresa Ibbetson, presented her line B.E. Shields FW 2012 collection at FAT Fashion & Art Toronto Week last night. Her collection is inspired by years of travel throughout Europe after her studies in Montreal’s College Lasalle.

Keeping the base of North American street style culture, Theresa added elements of European culture and simple elegance. We were such fans of the wools, tweeds and knits from this collection! Not only is the collection highly creative and well designed, but pieces like the cloaks look very comfortable and functional for a walk through the cold city. Theresa Ibbetson’s B.E. Shields will be available through Ukamaku very soon!
